I believe that in order to rise together we must support our ever-growing population of older Calgarians.

If re-elected, I commit to advocating for the following:

  • Championing more affordable housing for seniors, as I have in the communities of Greater Forest Lawn and Inglewood.
  • Continuing to push for aging in place solutions, like the Laneway Housing Pilot Project, the Jack Long Foundation’s ElderHouse, and Silvera for Seniors’ mission to better integrate their senior residents into surrounding communities and supports.
  • Expanding support services for seniors through investments in ‘next-gen’ community facilities.
  • Ensuring transit remains affordable, accessible and reliable, including the low-income transit pass.
